Sun Yao’s solo exhibition “Awakening The Light” was opened at the Art Space of the Konfuzius-Institut Nürnberg-Erlangen, running from January 20 to March 28, 2024. Marking its debut in Nürnberg, this exhibition is a part of Sun’s European tour. It was co-organized by the Art Space of the Konfuzius-Institut Nürnberg-Erlangen and the Galerie Shanghai, under the expert curatorship of Mr. Ronald Kiwitt.

The exhibition presented 15 captivating artworks, including Sun’s latest series “Eternal Flame,” alongside select pieces from the acclaimed series “Skyline” and “Neverland.”

The exhibition’s opening ceremony, held on January 19, 2024, was attended by distinguished guests, including Ms. Xu Yan, Director of the Konfuzius-Institut Nürnberg-Erlangen, Ronald Kiwitt, Art Director, and the artist Sun Yao, who each delivered insightful remarks to mark the occasion.
